Not near as many hop, but most of them slide. Most Skeeter owners dont even realize it because they think all boats handle the same.
Was that a turn it looked more like a bend to me http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif

Tim i was driving Sheeters before you were born, and i know as well as anyone what you're talking bout. There are some boat repair guys out there than can help with that, but like i said most of them slide instead of hop.Running a 4 blade prop will help alot with both problems to some degree.

Its what your boat did when you first got it until you learned to drive out of it, you know when it rocks from left to right to the point where you are about to lose control and you gotta back off the gas...

Here's the new G-ride...wasn't the one we originally was gonna get but we actually got a better deal on it and it was a step up from the other one. Didn't want the 'chrome' wheels really...

I will get in touch with friends...Find out about optimum prop/plate settings Sounds like shes close from what I heard in the video...A buddy has a zx185c and the fastest prop after set up was a b/b turbo 4 blade
Nice lookin bowtie http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
TXP 4 blade will work great with a 10 to 12 in plate.
Right on...It'll run 65 with just me and my regular load @ 2-1/4" below at around 5900rpms with about 16-18psi...just fyi
Thanks fellas!! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif
das what i tink brua
I've heard the same about the turbo props running pretty good on a Skeeter...I'd like to test drive one...
What's the pros and cons to a 4 blade prop? educate me... http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/popcorn.gif
3 blades create bow lift where a four blade lift the stern....You can run 4 blades 1/2" higher than a 3 blade on average therefore reducing the drag and increacing the speed...Not on all hulls though definitely most Skeeters http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
4 blades also offer a better ride and less driver input/fatigue
