He is totally right about the pay of bankers. My dad's first job as an ag loan officer was like $17k a year. He finally broke $30k a year 5 years later when he became a VP. He is making quite a bit more money now but he has been at it for 23 years now and has been a president for 9 years. Small town banks make good money but the employees don't.
