Anyone got any fishing report on dale hollow heading there for the first time oct 16 and 17
I was there last weekend Fri-Sun and it was tough. Tried a little bit of everything and couldn't figure a single pattern out. Threw jigs, swimbaits, and top water. Caught several small fish, but nothing good. Fished in KY and TN. Hope the bite picks up
I haven't been yet but talked to a buddy the other day that said they smacked em by vertical jigging spoons in the creeks.
Looks like I gotta go and get a spoon ...never fished one before..lol
wes that is a fishing spoon and not one you eat with. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif
haha funny jeff..
Was on Dale Sat. to put more hrs on my SHO and get a little more familiar with my HB's. Water is still 70 and places almost 71, still to warm for my style of fishing.......which is not catching anything but dinks.
Sounds like you do my kinda fishing....the water should be 60 or below soon enough
It's still 70-71 right now. Day fishing is slow.
my buddy and i boated 9 sunday even though the wind was horrible using jigs, spoons, and spinnerbait...then sunday we boat 11 using spook, jig, and drop shot worm. only caught 1 smallie 17 spots, and 2 largemouth that went 18''.... making another trip back in early nov
Have the water temps cooled off much? Thinking about heading down next week if the fishing is going to be any good.
I'm probably going Friday so I'll find out. The first week of Noveber is usually good so I'd plan on going.
Anybody want to make a day trip on NOV 11th? I got one of them cushy bank holidays curteous of our friends and family that are active and retired military!

Did not do to bad yesterday for the water being 68 AM and 70 by PM. Boated a couple of nice slots with a total of around 5 or 6 boated. Should start to do anything but get better from here on out.
Hint- Deep water near bank.
Going back nov. 4th and 5th. The water temp was about the same when we was there the highest it got was 70 and in the mornings was 68.
i'll be down next weekend..
Surface temp is 64 on the main lake in the mid lake area. We boated 5 upper end slots and 3 unders today. Caught on lm too close to 4lbs. They were all caught on jigs on main lake points or short cuts off the main lake. Nothing back in the creeks that we could find. We only fished half a day as our cold wet hands were numb and couldn't turn the reel handle http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
my buddy and i always fished cedar creek it was our fav lake still is but a couple of weeks ago when we went to dale it has turned into my favorite lake
Was down there yesterday fishing the Cunningham Memorial Tournament. We had a good time! Froze in the morning but turned out to be great fishing weather. We had 5 fish for 14 lbs. All caught shallow cranking up in the creeks. Good enough for 3rd place. We caught some SM up in the creeks on some deep running cranks, but all of them were in the slot, biggest one might have been 18".
Nice and congrats on 3rd

Yep - 'twas a good day of fishing! Water temp was 60-63 depending on how shallow you were. The cold rain and overnight lows really caused the water temp to drop quickly. Wish we could have gotten a good kicker but it was still a great day! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif
