Looks like a good piece of equipment and also a sponsor of ABA> http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif

Re: Win a Lock-n-Haul !!!! (Jim Smith)
I like that it holds the motor from turning as well as supporting it
-
Re: Win a Lock-n-Haul !!!! (crashj)
Looks like a good unit! My only concern is where is the safty to keep it from falling off maybe a bungie or something, Maybe since it just uses the boat and not the trailer it will stay in place. Pics not that good in add but got the basic idea of it. Good luck with selling them!!
And as everyone can see it actually does nothing for your transom it only protects the hydro cyl.
I have replaced alot of transoms and tell everyone not to let that big motor bounce out back!!!!

Re: Win a Lock-n-Haul !!!! (KonaKustoms)
i checked it out and i liked the way its works i think i would like to try one of these and see if it works as well as it looks. it would save the damage to the paint on the foot, which would help in the resale vaule of your boat

Re: Win a Lock-n-Haul !!!! (Jim Smith)
I like that it locks down the steering. It looks like a great product. Congrats on hooking up with Skeeter http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif

Re: Win a Lock-n-Haul !!!! (Jim Smith)
The Lock -n- Haul looks like a great product. I have an Evinrude Etech 225HO and currently use 2 plastic steering locks and the built-in flip down to stabilize the motor & steering while trailering. The Lock -n- Haul would do all this in 1 step and I would only have to keep up with 1 accessory!

Re: Win a Lock-n-Haul !!!! (FM350V)
I have this on my own xmas list to buy after the first of the year. I have seen the normal swivel-eze transom savers snap into 2 pieces. I currently have one, because its better than nothing. But the Lock-N-haul, would reassure me and I could have some stress-free towing the boat to lake!!!

Re: Win a Lock-n-Haul !!!! (Jim Smith)
Cool thing ya'll are doing! I haven't tried one yet, but have heard good things about 'em!

Re: Win a Lock-n-Haul !!!! (Jim Smith)
These will now be standard on new Skeeter Boats. I would like to try one on my '07 ZX200. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif

Re: Win a Lock-n-Haul !!!! (Jim Smith)
I began looking at these when I heard they were going to start making them standard on the new Skeeters. Looks like a neat product.

Re: Win a Lock-n-Haul !!!! (kicker-fish)
Looks like a nice product I have a 04 HPDI and am tired of the usual transom savers they leave rubber marks on the foot...

Re: Win a Lock-n-Haul !!!! (alh7498)
Some of my ABA Anglers already have one and they like it. No more having to put the clips on to keep the motor from turning.

Re: Win a Lock-n-Haul !!!! (Onthego)
Have not Seen one in this part of the country.

Re: Win a Lock-n-Haul !!!! (Jim Smith)
Honestly, I had not checked it out thinking it was "just another transome saver" and I hadn't completely bought into the idea of not transfering the motor weight to the trailer. But when I read about the new Skeeter deal I went to the website and was quite impressed with the mechanics involved. Looks to be a great new twist on an old problem.

Re: Win a Lock-n-Haul !!!! (Jim Smith)
That looks like a great alternative to my transom saver. I would like to try one.

Re: Win a Lock-n-Haul !!!! (Jim Smith)
I first had a transom saver and it was tough to get off. It scratched up the lower unit. Then 2-3 years ago I purchased a swivl-eze lock n stow and it sprung out of shape and the plastic inserts wore out, plus the lock n stow did not lock down the stering. The pictures of the Lock-n-Haul look very interesting. I have one on my wish list.

Re: Win a Lock-n-Haul !!!! (paulie)
Will it work on a '95 40hp Merc? If so, please enter me. Thanks

Re: Win a Lock-n-Haul !!!! (Buster365)
I'd sure like to win one , I've got a Yamaha 150 and it sure looks like it would do a better job than what I have. Sign me up! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/praying.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/praying.gif

Re: Win a Lock-n-Haul !!!! (Jim Smith)
I like the way it holds the motor, keeps it straight, and doesn't scratch the lower unit. Do you make one to fit a 50 Mercury? I need something for my aluminum boat.
-
Re: Win a Lock-n-Haul !!!! (Jim Smith)
I have good thing about them but It is just hard to let go of old habits I guess. I would like to see one in person and put my hands on it but there is just none in my area that I have seen. I do know that I dont like the way my old transom saver scratches my lower unit.

Re: Win a Lock-n-Haul !!!! (bigGUNS04)
Looks Super...I like the idea about it keeps your motor from tilting side to side..
I'm fairly sure it will fit my 03-Murc 115 4stroke.
Good Luck
Rick

Re: Win a Lock-n-Haul !!!! (Jim Smith)
Purchased a lock-n-haul after my original transom saver broke into on the way to the lake. Was kinda skeptical at first, but let me say, this is one of the best products i've ever purchased for my boat. Would recommend it to anyone.

Re: Win a Lock-n-Haul !!!! (Jim Smith)
I would love to have a Lock-n-Haul. I have seen them on boats around this area and they are great. So much better than the old transom mounts. The best part is they work really well and I've heard no complaints- only praise them. This was a very smart idea. I'd really like one for my 200 HP Mercury. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif

Re: Win a Lock-n-Haul !!!! (Jim Smith)
Looks like a nice unit. The price in comparsion to other simular units appear to be good. I noticed your web site spoke to a Clip in fine print. I'll assume this is to prevent lost. Would suggest high lighting that point more clearly and a picture to support it.. Over all I believe U may have a winner! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/pimp2.gif
