It's pretty neat, showing the view on Megalive in the corner of the live view, at least they are for Gustafson.

somebody will be along shortly to tell you how boring it is to watch...
If it was in the other bass live thread you would.
Just confirming that og livescope is better :stirthepot:
Very boring and too many commercials.
Looks like a nothing bottom to this rookie FFS eye…shows how much I don’t know.
Gustafson off to an early lead and leaving the area.
HB mega live getting some air time, maybe even paying for it? I bet they have some kind of exclusive deal with only mega live allowed being shown on the split screen. I haven't seen them show any Garmin Livescope or Lowrance active target split screens. If so pretty slick move by HB.
Definitely makes it much better have the livescope on the screen. Pretty neat.
Oh that is neat, they can also do Side imaging.
Agree, I think it makes it fun to watch. Much better than staring at the back of the guys head.
they can show anything from the unit with the hdmi output. humminbird apex and garmin 8600 series both have one. i dont see one listed on the lowrance
HDMI output will soon be in the works for Lowrance and Garmin to get in on the live coverage advertising. Add a few hundred dollars to those new units.
Seeing you guys talk bad about Bass and FFS warms my heart. Keep at it boys
I don't think anyone is trying to manipulate the public. The interface no doubt cost resources to develop and it's a great marketing opportunity. I'm sure Lowrance and Garmin had the opportunity to win the partnership and BASS contracted with the highest bidder, simple as.
I like the coverage and I'm glad to see it! FFS isn't going away, this allows us to see how it's utilized by pros. I for one love to see the technological advancements in our sport and can only laugh at the neo-Luddites who think its use in professional tournaments should be banned.
The A-rig is banned but staring at live at literally every tournament, Sure absolutely allowed. The irony in this shit is mind blowing. I was pro live for a long time till I realized how much its changing fishing.
Local trails 100% changed when FFS came out. A bunch of different guys now catching and winning.
I think the technology is really good but I’ve noticed that for many BFL tournaments in this area it’s getting difficult to find a guarantee non boater to fish. Use to be bed fishing tournaments was bad for co-anglers because of the boater sitting in one place now it seems that “live scoping” is causing a similar issue with co-anglers having to fish in one area while the boater fishes one spot.
I agree with this sentiment, but reach a different conclusion - it's absolutely stupid that the a-rig is banned, full stop. Nothing should be banned for being "too effective". In its day, the buzzbait was considered by many to be "too effective" also. Fishing has always been changing, such is the way of the world. The guys who can't adapt aren't winning anymore; sounds like they need to get on board, or else be confined to the annals of successful tournament angling.
Live bait is pretty clearly in a different category (the game is catching bass with artificial lures). Asking why this is banned is the same as asking why catfish or gar don't count.
250hp limit likely has a basis in obtaining insurance for events, safety, or some other rational foundation; whether that basis is valid or invalid is probably something BASS has or will explore at some point.
I agree that the ban on Accuview is arbitrary; I disagree that the existence of one (or more) arbitrary ban(s) provides a reasonable basis for others.
