Sloooooooow day
I'm just lazy, sounds like a couch day. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif
From what I saw yesterday its gonna be tough as hell. I don't know a whole lot about what can happen to a lake when the water is drawn out of it then refilled but obviously something has happened. It should be on fire IMO and its not. too many good sticks not catching anything. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eyes.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eyes.gif
I have not been on Washington this year. I am sure when the water fell out of the woods some grass and vegetation grew and now that the water has come up it is taking a lot of oxygen out of the water to decompose the grass. Just guessing that it is a oxygen problem. Did u spook or see any fish or bait fish in the woods?
It's tuff out here today http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/popcorn.gif
Water pH yesterday afternoon a little over 9 http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eek.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eek.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eek.gif
From that water sample?
Yep
All this rain should bring it down http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif Not sure what would be the factor in the alkalinity of a lake?
Decomposing grass and stuff that grew when was so low would be my guess.[
8.5 can be normal from what I've read, so I don't think 9 is lethal. I spooked fish from where I got the sample.
7 to 7.5 is ideal

Lake Washington, probably close to a cypress tree. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/stirthepot.gif

where in the hell did all these scientist come from? You allshould have used your "Color Selectors". Don't tell me you don't have one. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/stirthepot.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/stirthepot.gif Taff, I not talking about you cause I know since you started hanging around Gene you're way ahead the rest of us. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/bows.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
I was summonsed to take a water sample to Dr Bates, mr fisheries biologist. I did major in biology and minor in chemistry thou http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
I knewyou http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/USA1.gif had it covered Taff. I am honored to be around gentlemen so educated. I wonder if Terry ever borrows a D.O. meter. That would answer the oxygen question. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/USA1.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/USA1.gif

Going in the am, flybyy may come slum it in the tracker if the wind is too high to fly http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/stirthepot.gif
Rangerrat we can dispatch a team down from the fighting 47th Civil Support Team (Weapons of Mass Destruction) MS National Guard. They can give you a sample reading from the gas chromatograph and mass spectrophotometer. From those results we should also be able to determine what bait to throw in order to catch a fish every cast. (That's what the salesman told me.)
