This post is in regards to one of our banned comrads. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
If I had his money, I'd just buy 2 of each...keep the one I liked best, and then give the other 3 away to my friends. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eyes.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/stirthepot.gif IJS
I am considering a Bravo XS and would like to hear some reviews on 21/250's.
I say Bravo, but that is only because I have never ran a hydro..
I have ran both on my stroker. The hydro 28 "A cut" is very stiff and with 1.62's you may be better with a 26 or 27. Both great wheels. Holeshot goes to the Bravo1, The Hydro had 1.5mph better top end. They were pretty equal in all other areas at least on my particular rig.

That can be true with two of the same identical propellers.... Just say'in.
You are exactly right Mike, just sayin. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
Bravo is hard to beat on bottom. But the hydro will out midrange and topend it IMO.
i have a 03 21xd with 250 xs 06 model with 1.62 sportmaster i weigh in at 320 lb fish heavy loads always full of fuel best topend was 85 mph with 28 hydro hope this helps

Buddy if the Banned comrade wants to try a 28 Hydro he can try mine. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
Kyle, I would like to run it also.
i wouldnt mind running it myself !! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
He's asking about the bravo xs which is different than the bravo one.
I have a 28 bravo xs to try but I think it'll be too small.
I love my 29 hydro x-o/b. Solo loaded to fish with full fuel I've seen 85.7 with more to go, but the wind wasn't cooporating. I feel it'll run 86.5-87...solo with full fuel and fishin load. It'll cruise at 85 at anytime.

Ya'll be careful with that prop, you might get a ticket for "Racing" it runs so fast! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/doh.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
That 28 Hydro ran real well on my boat. Holeshot was good, midrange was real good, and I run it up to right at 87. Was more there but that was from Lakeview to the curve...the rest of the lake had gotten a little rougher with boat wakes and my gonads weren't very big that day. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/embarassed.gif
