Not me.
Lots of bass caught through the ice... :yesnod:
Caught them on jerks in 36 degrees
Nobody up here, lol! Good job!
I don't go when the water temp is 45 or colder.
My best day for a jerkbait bite is usually the day after the ice goes out. Dont ask me why but it has happened 3 years in a row now.
Nice
just click on the super small pic, hahahahaAttachment 569128
First trip of the year caught 7, and lost 3 more in 3 hours in 39-42 degree water with the wind howling.
I’ve never hear anyone say that
Of course they will bite.
They bite good in cold water!
If and when you can get through the ice to bite, they'll hit. Good job in getting some bites today:beers:
36 is my magic number before it ices over that I normally stop fishing. once the ice leaves I go out as soon as i can launch the boat.
I really enjoy crankbait fishing for bass with water temps in high thirties and low 40's. As long as the wind doesn't blow.
Bass LOVE a jerk bait in cold water
Cold water fishing is my favorite. I get to fish the jerkbait as much as I want, it's my favorite lure. The ponds/lakes are much more peaceful. Fishing pressure is way way down so the fish get a little less weary. 99 percent of the time there are no Ski boats or jet skis or wake boats, unless you get that 1 percent true nut case.
Has anyone actually said this?
Good start of the season :thumb up2:
