Slick Trick Standards has an 85gr option. I've never shot those, but have shot their 100gr for years.
Also been shooting slick trick 100’s for several years. Im no expert but they’ve worked well on everything Ive shot with them, I went that route because they were among the 2 or three “everyone in the room says they’re good” heads I was able to find. Mine fly well and were very easy to tune.
Slick Trick 100 has worked on deer and turkeys for me. Normally a short walk to recover them if I do my part.
For a fixed head that has a replaceable blade I dont think you can go wrong with Slick Trick.
I shoot the Viper Tricks and they shoot great.
I wouldnt go below 100 grains on any head though. thats just me personally.
Without a doubt, QAD Exodus. Made in America, some tricks are no made in China. And not to knock the other posters, but the QAD blades make a joke of Slick Tricks. Watch John Lusks tests of both on youtube… The Tricks arent bad heads, but they arent QAD’s at all.
Exodus are very good. But i don't think anything is making a 'joke' of Slick Tricks. They are a fine head and will do their job if you put them where they need to go. If I was buying new heads, they would be Exodus.
I'm still using NAP Thunderheads
Yep, what I use and thanks to a guy on the property next to where I used to hunt was using slick tricks, he hit a nice 10pt in the shoulder and it stopped just under the skin. I shot it the next day. Broke ribs going in and coming out.Quote:

QAD Exodus are my favorite broadheads. They fly great and penetrate well.

Slice Trick Standard 100 gr. They fly well.
part of that could be a poorly tuned bow. Arrows that are flying straight will lack penetration. My sons and I had killed three red stag, two Carabiou, a pronghorn, and countless deer with slick tricks. Never a penetration problem.Quote:

FYI The new Slick Tricks are not the original Slick Tricks.
Since they got bought out they have had tons and tons of QC issues. Keep your old ones if you have them but I would steer clear of the new models.
