Man oh man! Saban buying his way into the playoffs, the committee being biased, and I was told my comments about a blatantly missed call was "deep state stuff". lol

Bama should be in FSU lost QB won ACC not SEC. Georgia should be in not Washington. Bamamuch improved since Txgame.

Keep hearing this, and I don’t disagree they’ve settled Milroe down a little or better shaped the play calling. But are they really that much improved, like more so than is normal late in season? I don’t know about that.

Flash back to 2007 Boise State and Okahoma, Ok 11-2 was supposed to crush Boise State 12-0 in the Fiesta Bowl being favored by 7.5 pt. Final BSU 43- OK 42.

The committee should have put the 4 teams with winningest season record. These kids play as a team not whether or not one player is out for a particular game. The committee wrongly played fantasy football analysis.

If you are going to argue that FSU is out because their starting QB is out. Then GA must be in because of the blown 4th down call that turned the game iin favor to AL. GA was robbed just as FSU is being robbed.

True…the 2nd string might have 100 passing yards and 5 rushing yards. Fact is they are both garbage compared to what is in the finals. Wouldn’t even be a competitive game.

This proves that the SEC champ will always get in. If there was ever a year to leave the SEC out it was this year. I guess going forward it doesn't really matter since everyone will be in the playoffs.

Not always. 3 undefeated conference champions in 2004 and the SEC was left out of the title game.

Way too many meaningless Bowl Games. Going to a 12 team playoff will feature 11 games, which is enough. If you want to go watch your team play, it could mean traveling all over the country 4 weeks in a row. Not many fans with both the time and money to pull that off. It's going to be really difficult to make travel plans, only being able to do so just a few days in advance, unless you want to risk paying in advance and having your team lose the game before.

That was a totally different format then, that was pre-playoff era.

The SEC was mid this year. Mid as mid gets. UGA and the bim bams came within a ding dong’s hair of losing to a 6-6 AU team. Tide struggled with USF and Arkansas. UGA struggled against SC and Missouri. Using 2020-2022 to deny an undefeated conference champ a playoff berth just solidifies the idea that they don’t care about what happens on the field. It’s about eyeballs, t-shirts, and Walker County sidewalks glued to The Network from now until January.

If it’s “TEH FOUR BEST TEAMS” then why didn’t UGA get in over Washington? I bet they’d be a TD+ favorite right now. OSU over Texas? Probably favored as well. They didn’t care. They don’t care. It’s a pageant. This is the third time the bams have gotten in the postseason when they didn’t deserve it. Who cares anymore?
