hey duke just got back from fishing table rock and caught several nice ones on top water this morning spook and buzz good luck hope you catch a bunch.
Sounds good Spook! Gonna head down to the Cape Fair area tomorrow afternoon and fish til dark I think... http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/stirthepot.gif
Try the back of the creeks. My fish were right on the bank with any kind of brush. I was using a super spook in a baby bass good luck hope you tear them up. Had to stay with the buzz and the were just sucking it in sometimes as soon as it hit the water but they were exploding on the spook. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif
Awesome!! Did you catch them very late in the day?
Hey Spook what colors were you using as far as the buzz baits?

Sweet ! I love the Spook, one of my faces, can you tell where and how deep? I know that place is huge so any help would be much appreciated, we have never been.
The buzz was black with a triple plastic chartreuse blade a guy in Fayetteville makes them also has a clicker on it I believe it was a half oz. I was fishing the white river between Shell knob bridge and Big M Marina. We started at 7 am. and fished till noon caught fish on top till about 10 am. then fished points for spots with tubes and drop shot. Green plastic is always good on the Rock water mellon and green pumpkin. The drop shot fish were between 20 and 25 feet. Hope this helps have a great time and catch a boat load. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/mug1.gif

I'll be up Friday afternoon where should we meet? Which campground and what camp sight? I know this was discussed but as usual I'm a little confused. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif What time is everyone going to be there? Is the marina restaurant still open? Is everyone bring something to BQ or are we going to eat out? Looks like it is going to be a beautiful weekend. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/mug1.gif
As for the campground, it's Roark west...I am still a little confused as to how we are gonna get a site if the park is closed....as for food, open to suggestions...haven't heard from Sam as to know if he is wanting to smoke meats again...(if not it is totally OK) So...getting down to the wire, need to know!! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif
Ok Guys!! I called the campground this morning and talked to the Corp of Engineers, Roark West is CLOSED But, East is open, electric is available. It is a pay on the Honor system. Cost is half price. I will be down friday afternoon. Send me an IM this week. I can give you my cell phone up if you need more info. Kris I think you still have my cell, call me if you have question. If anybody needs it let me know. Text me call me whatever is good by me. Looking forward to a Great weekend!
As far as cooking or smoking goes I'm flexible. The marina resturante is still OPEN for business.
Sorry about the West campground being closed, not much I can do there.
