it's at least that far.... it's 80 minutes from Segnette to Bayou Black, and the Basin is further than that.
It's roughly 90 miles time depends on whether your running a Bullet or a Stratos and how much you have to spend on fuel.
I will let you know after march 3rd how long it takes..
1 hour and 40 minutes @ 55mph
1 hour and 20 minutes @65 mph

you're probably right.. I just know it's a run that I wouldn't wanna make if I didn't absolutely have to.
I'm not but my partner is dead set on doing it. I will be napping on the way..

The off limits in the past have been the area around Stephensville and Dorions canal. You can run to the Tank Pond or Venice. Wherever you go you'll need at least 16lbs or better to win. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
That's a Lil longer than 1 hour 20 minutes, closer to 2 hours

You know better than that, you've had an opti! I guarantee you I'll get better gas mileage at 80 than either one of them at 60! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/glasses.gif

No way in hell to run 80+ during that trip. The 10-15 tugs you will pass throwing 2-3' waves will have you shitting bricks if you hit them at 80.
There's other areas producing as well as the tank ponds right now.....but with a whole lot less pressure.....just sayin.....
