Can't argue with any names mentioned thus far. There are so many GREAT singers in every genre. I can't believe Mariah Carey hasn't been mentioned. She's off the charts talented (and crazy)!

Prolly my two favorites are Karen Carpenter and Allison Krause.

Girl named Tom. They are incredible. Saw them in concert last Christmas. She has an amazing voice but the group is fantastic.
