I like that layout better than my '13. But I think the '13 has the best layout of any other current year boat.

thanks bstrkr, i added the gas shocks last year to all my deck compartments. got tired of the hitting me in the head! ton of room with the 2 rod locks on both sides.
i purchased the brackets from mcmaster carr on line and the gas shocks too- i used marine white adhesive to mount the lid brackets. drilled out a hole on the rising lip for the other bracket. on the lid brackets i could have lined it up a little better but it works.
Cool. Thanks for the info. That definitely has me pondering. Goes on the neverending list haha. That adhesive work pretty well against the tension?
I would love to put shocks on my compartments, but I'm confused about measuring. how do you know what size shock to get?
the adhesive is strong. i tried others and they kept popping off, but with the marine adhesive, no problems. as far as the length, that is determine where you want the shock mounted. my lids are light so i didnt need them mounted too high up the lid. it took me a while to figure that out too. the shocks are about 7 inches long but if any one wants to know i can measure them - i can even try and get the part numbers for shocks and brackets.
Definitely the tougv part getting everything lined up so no excess strain but not enough force to hold up the lid. Have worked witg them before at work but much larger. Nice thing about the adhesive is dont have to drill as many holes.
I worked on this one for many years
Be a great rig for shallow back waters or hp restricted lakes for sure.:thumb up2:
Nice shot. That looks really cool.
Sold the Triton glass rig fall 2012 and picked up this 2012 Crestliner 1750 Fish Hawk with 12' 115 Opti. I purchased boat with no electronics and added: Minn Kota Terrova 80# with ipilot, Minn Kota 8' Talon, Lowrance HDS 7 at bow, Lowrance DSI at wheel, Pro Marinar charger, Interstate group 29's and Flow Rite pump out/ recirculating system in rear well. Boat runs and fishes awesome, don't miss the bass boat at all. She runs 43 mph GPS, need to add SS prop and I think she will run high 40's.
Finally got some evening pics of mine. Not done with the mods yet, as still got a bluewater led trailer kit to install (red). 2013 Tracker Pro Team 175TF with vinyl flooring & w/Mercury 60hp 4stroke and MercMonitor installed.

The bilge area has two bluewater LED 12 inch 18 LED's white strips in an L configuration since I don't care to see too much of the fuel tank. The lights are connected to a mercury tilt switch you can see in the upper part of the pic, attached to the lid. Closed it turns off the light.

I've sinced changed out the blue bezel on the mercmonitor to a chrome one to match the other gauges. If anyone wants the blue one, make me an offer via PM.
Looks sharp WD.
Looks great for sure. See you added some more guide ons toward the front. Does that help center in on the trailer any better?
you betcha, never miss, just hit it, it'll center every time first time. Those are the composite bunk boards from Cabela. Much better than BPS wood boards, plus those are adjustable tilt for best fit, BPS guides can't get that close but they do cost more than BPS but it works better.
I have an Idea to improve the loading on mine also. Should help to center the boat much better. (or at least im hoping lol) Mine has to be just right or it always ends up on top of the left board. Ramp angle has alot to do with it seems like the steeper the ramp the better for mine. Ill be posting pics of the process I was just curious how yours were working. You have made alot of cool changes to yours tho. Thanks for the info.:salute:
