You need to seek some anger management. I merely stated a fact that competitive bass fishing has become a sport that takes a good deal of money. Am I mad at anyone who makes good money? Nope. I was not kidding however....about the youngsters pulling up at the launch with rigs over 80 grand and trucks almost that cost. I would have loved to have those deals at 17, 18, 19 years old. But hey, it's your money and it is a free country. You get to spend it the way you prefer. My surprise at this is not aimed at parents or the youngster, it is just my surprise. And, I merely pointed out the fact that the early Pros, many came into competitive fishing as bricklayers, mechanics in the National Guard, and working in tackle shops. Those days are gone.
