croxton, super job and runs great but gets dinged pretty easy. Maybe I'm too hard on them.
Re: Why do Skeeters hop so bad when you turn left? (jcdogfish)
what kind of prop an old trophy?
Re: Why do Skeeters hop so bad when you turn left? (jcdogfish)
I've heard the same thing about them dinging up easy after theyve been worked...but hell mines already dinged up! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
Re: Why do Skeeters hop so bad when you turn left? (signmanbasser)

Re: Why do Skeeters hop so bad when you turn left? (jcdogfish)

It obviously doesn't walk like a bullet or blazer or any other V bottom type hull...but if you stand on it and trim it all the way out...right at about 60 the nose jumps up about 2 more feet like it jumped on another 'pad' so to speak and it starts walking, if you were to let the steering wheel go and not 'drive' it, it's prolly throw you out...
Re: Why do Skeeters hop so bad when you turn left? (timmaahh12)
If you had a good prop, it would not do that near as bad..
Re: Why do Skeeters hop so bad when you turn left? (timmaahh12)
It would and has...and not letting go of the wheel either

Can I have one of yours?? http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/popcorn.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
What's funny about it is if you put someone in the passanger seat, it won't do it at all...Of course my brother is a solid 235!
Re: Why do Skeeters hop so bad when you turn left? (timmaahh12)
Passenger didn't help me, no matter how big.
Re: Why do Skeeters hop so bad when you turn left? (RogerR)
Tim, my Dad has the same exact set-up as you. He is turning the same wheel and getting about the same results. If I can find a 4 blade around here, we'll try it and see if it makes a difference.
I had a 4blade 25P Powertech when I first bought the Rocket. Kinda wish I would have kept that prop.

your right they are very very easy to bend. too many stumps around here
Re: Why do Skeeters hop so bad when you turn left? (Bada$$Bullet)
The older Skeeters I had really liked a 4 blade prop. They also behaved better with a 6 inch plate vs the ones with a 10 inch. If my 25 was still blueprinted yall could try it, it is now blueprinted by me on my trailer ball and ballpeen hammer. I do have a blueprinted 24 trophy but you may be better off with a large diam. prop for the lift. Can you pop your boat up to the last pad by driving about half to three quarter throttle, trimming high then backing off on the throttle? If you can do that then you almost bet you need more cup in the prop or different style prop and a 4 blade would work better. You may however loose some top end with the 4 blade. It seems weird that you have to get to that speed to pop on the last pad,,unless that boat has a double step pad like the Ranger 360's. Is there a small bass pro shop in the front compartments? You may also want to empty the boat and see how it reacts. Then redistribute the weight of course with as little as possible up front.

You mean keeping my mushroom anchor, tools and spare tackle boxes in front compartment is holding me down. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif
