Great looking job
thanks for the pics. i have been wanting to convert mine into a cooler i just thought that stuff was thin. guess its time for another project
I used the 1/2" sheet, fished Saturday night, put a 22lb bag of Ice in there at 4:45pm, at 8:45am when i pull the drain plug the ice was melted, but the water was ice cold. Temp was mid 80's.
hey rd,stupid ? but how will you keep the water out,i have a 187 champion an i wont to do something like yours ,that is a great job you done http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif
Thats a real good jod on the extention. I like the light you mounted on the console, I put one on my old boat as well as fingernail clippers tied to some 17lb test. I always night fish and its handy to know where the light and cutters are "EVERY" time you need them. Have you fished in the rain yet? Does the water drain out of the new boxes good?
Yes have fished in the rain all night, did get water inside of the extension. Didn't seem like alot, left the lids open to dry out. All my stuff is in plastic boxes and trays.
I knew it wouldnt be water proof but I was wondering how much water you would have inside and if it could drain out easy
Great job...love the carpet work.
Wow, that is one nice-looking job!
You have inspired me to do the same with the old Glassmaster.
Where did you get your carpet? I can only find the cheap, ribbed stuff locally.
Thanks again.
