This is my get'r done boat. My last boat. I have had many boats since my first one in 1978 from bass boats to center consoles.
I've had this one since new in 2003. Duracraft 1660 with Tohatsu 40 2 stroke tiller. I can do everything I want to do with
this boat. Bass fish, crappie & bluegill, catfish, whites in the shallow water river during spring where I have to pull it over
the rapids, run down riggers in power plant lakes for redfish. She's simple. She's tough. She is low maintenance. That's about it !

Thanks !
The only thing that changes on this boat is the electronics. Getting ready to
replace the HDS10 with a Helix MEGA 12 and a 360 transducer. Started with
a Lowrance Fishmark 480. Whew. Glad things have changed in that area.

I like it! Looks like it's built like a tank.
Dura Craft has always made a good aluminum boat. The old 14ft Dura Craft boat my dad has (still) has a permanent imprint in the aluminum seat where I used it so much learning the tricks of catching ol' Mr. Largmouth, not to mention all of the white perch (crappie) that I caught out of that boat. Lot's of memories were made in that boat and I hope that you and your kids create a lot of memories with her.
.
Thanks krr. It was reports like yours that made me look at DuraCraft. I've been blessed will a lot of good times in this boat. It's really unfortunate that the
same company that built my boat was dissolved and reformed. This boat was from a different era and concept. I'm so thankful I have it.
Here's a couple of good fish my sister caught this past winter.

Weren't they originally made in Monticello, AR? Anyway tell you sis those are great looking fish! Looks like you both had a great time and looking at the forceps on her ring it looks like she fishes quite a bit.
