Finally got her out this evening before dark. It was cold but wind was fairly calm, around 51 degrees. Took some getting used to the no feedback steering but I like it(stiffer than I expected). Did some slow cruising for a while at different rpm's for break-in but after a while I opened it up and I believe it maxed out at around 5,800-5,900 rpm's and the speedo read 53. Running 89 octane non ethanol(full tank 21 gals), me 155lbs and not to much gear. GPS on my phone wasn't working. After it being years since I've driven a boat it's going to take some adjusting to get the trim thing figured out. It has a Spitfire X7 12.7/19.0 4 blade prop. I will post up my maximum speed on my profile once I check it with GPS and know for sure that I know what I'm doing. It does level out quickly with just a bump or two of the trim at lower speeds, 20mph or less. Next trip out this coming week will be focused more on the fish than the boat.
