That's a beauty, love the newer style seats you put in her! Can't get my restoration done fast enough, hard not to rush but slow and steady works best. :thumb up2:
Thanks. Yea I had no issue taking my time with it. My goal was to have it ready for this year and I put the last screw in her yesterday before the ice was even out so I am happy I was able to get her done "on time". I enjoyed it so much I have been actually looking for another one to do.
I updated her with hydraulic steering, recessed pedal, newer style seats, carbon fiber dash, custom rubber mat. Added a new hummingbird 899 at console and a helix 5 di/sonar/gps unit up front. Not sure if I will stick with the helix. I really should have used another 800 series up front so I can connect them. Maybe next winter. lol. I may even put 360 imaging on my trolling motor next winter. I love this old girl more then any new boat. Have a long history with her. I have fished her from the 10,000 islands in florida up to Canada for musky. Always ran flawless. She deserved the update and we will do another 20 years together. :)

Here is my recently purchased and first Bass Boat, 2005 Champion 196 with 2005 Yamaha VMax 200 HP, 10" slidemaster jackplate and hotfoot. I absolutely love this boat and couldn't be happier with it, other than the white color, but I had a guy ask if it was new when I was on the water last weekend, it is that clean. I am putting the HDS Gen 2 Touch 12" on the console this weekend. Will have a recessed trolling motor tray installed soon as well to make it even easier to fish out of.

Just bought her about a month ago. 2004 198DC with Merc 225. Already love the boat and can't wait to get her out again and again and again. Been out of fishing for about 3 years to run all over the south with my kids and their sports. They're done with sports now so I can have some "me" time.

thanks Bow4UM, I appreciate it, it is my first ever bass boat like I said and I just took it out last Saturday for first Bassin trip and I absolutely loved it, adding a 12ft Talon this Sunday so it should get even more fun.
