great post and am enjoying catching up on the work you are doing ....fished in several similar Dyna-Traks with partners back in the day
Have you decided what type of transom material you are going back with? Looks like the inner FG skin was toast also probably thin skinned from the factory

Here is a pic of transom installed. SO I cleaned out the channel the best I could, mesured the angles and sizes. Ended up using 3/4 marine ply and doubled it up with srews. After that I sealed it with resin. Pounded it in with mallet and now ready to be finished up. What is the best way to attach the transom to the rest of the boat for stability? Maybe some brackets to the stringers? Not sure what to do. So I am going to fiberglass the whole thing to fix any damage when tearing out the rotted transom. I know this is taking a while but I work full time and run a hvacr business on the side. No time at all.

First picture you can see where gaps that water could get in are now glassed. Double layerd with lots of resin.
Second picture is where you can see where I used 3/4 marine ply for step supports and structure support. Screwed with about six screws. The cap will lay over top and screw down opposite side.
Third pic you can see that I installed a new aerator pump since the last one was not in good shape at all and cracked. Cost me about 60 bucks.
And last pic you can see where cap is now together again. Added clear silicone between cap and will add mite after bumpers are completely installed. I think I used alot more screw holes than were used before but oh well buy more screws and make it tight.
Final plan is to glass underside of cuts and top of cuts where carpet will he installed then use gelcoat that I got off a boat guy for the gel cuts. Almost there!
