Well, you can take me out of the equation. The last time I fished Pickwick, I got my a$$ handed to me by my son, so my guess is that Chris and Danny is the boat to look out for!! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/ohwell.gif

Well, I can't make it. My kids are both sick and mom doesn't want me straying to far from home this weekend.
I hate it because Pickwick is my favorite lake in Alabama and one of the best lakes I have been on.
If I were going, I would spend a lot of time around the top of 7 mile island in those ditches that cover that point. Especially if the water isn't moving. I was there last August and had a very nice limit in about 30 minutes under very similar conditions to what you guys are going to have. Awesome lake.
Maybe it will get in the rotation again in December or January.
Sorry you can't make it this time, Steve.
Oh, and thanks for telling everyone about one of my sure-fire, go-to hotspots!! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/ohwell.gif

Well, I started to post my favorite spot but they've moved back onto it and it looks like I'm going to be able to fish the Saturday night tourney on Pickwick so I'll keep it to myself for now. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
my dad used to fish a place called buzard roost on bear creek when he was a young man , but i think its a long long run from mcfarland. ive never been there ,they drove to some ramp close by, back then a 20 hp was a big motor.
