How fast can you run with bimini top deployed?? Or can you run at all??
Depending on how gusty the wind is, 30-35mph or perhaps a bit more. I have caught myself doing 38 I know with it up. Had no problems.
Thank you sir for your help.:salute:
Awesome Skeeterbait!! I am getting me one if I keep fishing in summer!! You have that white stallion dolled up!! I have a black RT188!
I have the same one as Skeeter in my RT and I love it. Been using it a lot lately. It is very easy to use and is very tough. I was worried about getting one at first. My wife called it an old man top. LOL. This old man is a smart old man!
Also, don't skimp on price on the one you buy and you will be happy.
When ordering I see you can order a support brace, Does your setup have the support brace also, or is this something that is really not needed. Just trying to make sure of what to order.
The support braces are to hold it up off the deck when the boot is on. That is going to get in the way of the rear seat fisherman I feel. I just let mine lay on the back deck and use 4 straps to hold it when opened instead of ridged braces on the rear.
My RB190 came with NO cleats. I've been looking at them and attachment methods. Check out riv nuts. You can get aluminum ones that are threaded.
I like it!:thumb up2:
Awesome pics, write up, and info shared with all! :beers:
Looks great.

SB, you are amazing. Next time you go to Airport for service, let me know so I can come shake your hand.
That came out great. Looking to add one to my rig for the family outings.
Very Nice
Very nice indeed - I have one on my Xpress as well. Just a little taller so I can comfortably stand up. No way to survive the heat with one.
I have the exact same top on my 2018 RT188 and love it! I bought the optional 2’ sliding tracks so I can move it up or back. Works great when the wife is on the boat because she can slide it back to cover the entire rear deck and lounge. Her increased comfort greatly extends our fishing outings!
