Run time library trap - if I had the code for the graphic might be able to use notepad++ to find??? dunno, sounds like a fatal call error. Have you tried to flash the unit again and is this the unit you did the updation via network?
I got the same units you do I think but have not had the hours of operation.

I would do a factory reset and flash this unit as stand alone for starters.... keep us posted and good luck..

Certainly unusual. First that I have seen this reported. I also checked with our tournament-support staff and they haven't seen it either. Have you checked input voltage at the console power plug to ensure that this isn't the issue?

Just got off the phone with Garmin. They are going to replace the unit but don't have any in stock. They are looking for one for me. First thing I did was check voltage as I know how important that is to all these units. 13.1vdc. My other 7612 is also pulling power from the same battery and fuse block and that one has not shut down a single time. One other thing I noticed yesterday was how much hotter this unit was running than the one at the bow. I mentioned that to Garmin and they pretty much said that they will get me a new one.

cool sounds like an isolated issue then. I have put in a request with my garmin support contact to monitor these forums for us :thumb up2:

Well back to square one. The replacement 7612xsv is shutting down also. I am going to disconnect the GRID and see if that does it. I don't remember having problems with the unit shutting down before I added the GRID to the system. If that doesn't work I will disconnect everything from the network and start adding them back in one at a time. It stinks because it sometimes takes 2 hours for the unit to shut down.

Strange. Keep us posted sir. Hopefully it's something simple

I always default to a problem with my installation first, so I am going to run power directly to the battery instead of using the fuse block.
