I'd say a lot of the accused are not cheating and there are probably several people cheating who no one suspects. I have seen 2 cases where it looked like someone was cheating and the talk got started. Later on down the road they were caught so the talk turned out to be true. Most cheaters get greedy and brave at some point. That's how they get caught. Ill never be accused because I never win.

surprized no one has mentioned this...but first hing I'd do is offer to take a polygraph test...and if i lose,I pay for the test....if i pass, the accuser pays.....believe that would shut that talk up.....

Not exactly an answer to your question but a quick story. 5-6 years ago there were a couple of young guys winning about every team walleye tourney held on a certain body of water. As you can imagine there were lots of rumors starting to circulate about cheating and such by them. A larger circuit that I fished came to their town. Based on the rumors an observer was out into their boat for the two days. All they did was go out and win the damn tourney with the observer aboard. Pretty much put an end to the rumors!!!
