ive probably run 60 miles or so in a day total.
10 miles one way
180 miles round trip.
Lake Champlain
took 7th place, would have given 1st place a run for his money. When I bagged my fish, I had a rock bass(as big as the palm of my hand) and 4 cissco shad in my live well that had been spit up.
Also just made it back in time due to bad weather. I had a tin of chew in my back pocket and ended up with a bruise the size of a hockey puck on my right butt cheek for two weeks.

I've run 45 to 50 miles one way on Lake Erie, let's say 90 miles round trip, on a few memorable occasions. Not once did it really work out. One such trip it was really smooth and I averaged over 60 mph. Could have run a long, long way on that day. Ended up catching all my fish about 10 miles from the ramp. Another time on Erie we took 2 hours 45 minutes to get to a spot about 35 miles out, stayed about 10 minutes, then turned around and headed back. Had one bite and lost it at the boat. Too rough to get a net on the fish. I'd better be fishing for at least a couple thousand these days to make a really long run.

about 12 miles one way, but really, for me the more time with line in the water the better. I know guys will run out into sginaw bay a long way, but I dont get into that chit... http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eek.gif
30 miles on Champlain. Loved it. But it wasn't rough either! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
Longest mileage wise would be either Clifton to White Oak on KY Lake, or Paris Landing on KY Lake to Dover'ish on Barkley. Time wise would be from McFarland Park on Pickwick to the Decatur flats on Wheeler in the early 90's.
Now days it's Old Hickory, Flippers to ............ (way up river)
And they paid off more times than not. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif

Probably not my longest run but definately the worst. 45 miles from Ferguson to lake Whittington on the MS river. Did not even catch 1 fish so it was a bust for sure. I have made other long runs that worked out.
30 Miles south on Ky Lake n 30 miles back in the 18.6 Champion and that's the last time I'm doing that. The wind kicked up n kicked my butt ! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eek.gif
I guess about 50-60. the locks on the atachafalaya(sp) was closed due to a rig fire. We went around to black bayou and a little beyond. Caught there fish in about five minutes. Tide turned and the water turned black and no more fish http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/ohwell.gif
I don't know how far it is from Diablo East to Seminole canyon on Amistad but I took extra gas.
In my boat I have gone @ 12 miles one way
.
As a co angler we ran 97 miles one way. My face felt like it had ants crawling on it after we stopped
ran both tanks dry and refilled once and ran one tank dry.. it was a long day..
Probably about 20-30 miles. I would rather fish than burn gas. If I was gonna run any further than that it would have to be as close to a guarantee as you can get in fishing.
If I had to guess it would be around 50ish miles. My dad and I ran from Ft. Loudon dam to just past Neyland Stadium in knoxville and it took us a little under and hour 1 way. My foot just about fell asleep on the hotfoot.
