It is not like he stood there in front of the world on stage and broke down. He congratulated Chris Lane when he seen the fish get put on the scale. The man went off stage back in a storage area away from EVERYONE and showed his emotions to himself. I will bet that he did not know the camera had followed him to the back. The man just lost the Bassmaster Classic. When guys like former Classic Champion Skeet Reese don't even make the field, shows how hard it is to get in the Classic then to finish 2nd has to bring up all kinds of emotions. Something like 33 men have EVER won the Classic and he could have been on that list but it wasn't meant to be. I have no problem with his emotions because it shows he put his heart and soul into it and gave all he could give to come up just short.

Proably wasnt crying over loosing, I mean who in bass fishing doesnt loose?? He proably just had to release all the pressure and relaized what had just slipped though his fingers. Im sure he was a bit overwhelmed.

I think there is more wrong w/ the freaking camera up his rear backstage. Leave the guy alone for a minute ya know?

I got not problems with it, he has only been a pro a few years.. So I could see it being very emotional to him..

Nobody bashin chris lane for cryin when he won, gv was having to deal with the same thing. The dude had to get it out. Everybody bashin a man for cryin needs to quit measuring the length of their man hood and come back to reality where action prevails over words

Doesn't bother me a bit. He's a great guy and showed some emotion. So what. Rather see a guy cry about second than come off stage bitching and making excuses. MOST of these guys take professionalism to a different level IMO. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif

Hey guys, I'm new to the boards. Being a kid I am already dreaming of being in the classic someday, although its reality that for most people it will never happen. I can see why Vinson would shed emotions, I know I sure would!

Not a thing wrong with it and thought it was one of the truly genuine honest moments of the whole broadcast.... One of my greatest Classic memories of all time is Gerald Swindle and the Firefighter I still don't care who caught the most pounds of fish in that tournament and still shed a tear when ever I read Don Barone's article about it...

I probably would have cried worse. That has to be an extremely tense moment and week for that matter and for it to come down to the end? Yep I would have lost it too.

Nothing wrong with him crying over losing (if thats even the reason. Crying doesnt make you a sore loser. Screaming and cussing and throwing your sh!t in the lake does.
