Major League Fishing. First show at midnight!

I watched it right when it came online last night on my Touchpad tablet. Played without issue.

I have to say I Was really impressed. I bought the 18 pack. This is a top quality production imo, especially for the first episode. You get to watch the pros talk some about their patterns and what they are thinking as they are going through the day. The live scoring is great. Watching martens freak out when he knows KVD is once again putting it on him. I hope this format works out. I really enjoyed it. The commercials were all less than 10-15 seconds and maybe one every 30 minutes. Not enough to bother you. Anyone on the fence I would say at least try one episode.

My only complaint was Marty Stone as the expert analyst. I don't know if it was his cadence of his speech or his accent but I found him hard to listen to and understand. It was annoying. Thankfully he isn't that big a part of the show.

I also think it was good for the money. I don't think you will get the same from the tv show. As for Marty, that's just the way he talks, he is a really nice person.

I thought it was well worth the money and I payed for all of them. It was almost like you were in the boat with them and got to see every decision they made. I liked it, but the only thing I didnt like was that they rounded each fish in 1/4 oz. I think it would be more fair if they went by ounces like in a normal tournament.

Most of you may already know this, but if you disconnect the HDMI cable from the back of your cable/directv box and stick it in your laptop you get to watch whatever video is playing through your laptop on your flatscreen tv. I do it all the time for blacked out sporting events.

I just went ahead and bought the whole package. HANDS DOWN the most information these guys have ever shared, without you actually being there with them. Their thought processes are highlighted. very high quality video as well.

They have no practice but get fifteen minutes to run around and look at the graphs/lake, only get to fish the Zone that is permissable to fish for that round, and have no loaded waypoints from previous trips. They all fish out of 18ft boats with 150 on them. Every keeper counts towards their total weight. The live leaderboard really adds some excitement to it.

Just an FYI, I cant stand watching BASS events any more so, this is a real treat. I dont think we will catch MLF guys casting a baitcaster and then reeling in a fish on a spinning reel from the same clip. LOL. No propoganda.

First, for those that are having trouble with the video. In the bottom right hand corner of the video player, there should be something that lets you choose like download speed. It may say something like best available. Anyways, I selected 1600 kbs and it worked fine.

Next, I thought it was really a good show. Really neat to see that format. Good video, real informative, and just down right entertaining.

Just watched it. It was better than I thought it would be. Now ready for next week. I Like the format. Dont like the break periods. All in all to me was worth the money.

I just watched it. I thought it was pretty well done. The blonde announcer was nice to look at but it seemed stranger hearing her talk about bass techniques when I imagine she's never caught a fish in her life. It was somewhat informative in the beginning when they talked about locating the fish but after the first period, it became a mad dash to make the cut.


What really, really pissed me off about it was that it had commericals! Granted, their were not many but it was the point that I had to pay for it and they had commericials. I have been drinking the MLF kool-aid for a long time. No surprise it was good and more than expected. I really liked watching KVD put it to them early and hear how the others were reacting to it (feast or famine) and then at the end when Ehrler was climbing back into it and A Martins was begging the clock to go faster. It was really entertaining. All the classic commentary seemed to come from A Martins though.

My only wish........I was hoping for more on the water analysis on how they chose their spots. They talked about it, but maybe an overlay of their boat positions on top of the contoured area they fished. I think that would have helped teach a lot of people about seasonal patterns that still struggle figuring it out (raising hand here). http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif

All in all, I liked it and hope they build on it.
