Look what the grass has done for alot of lakes all over the country.. Right now i would say with the lake fishing the way it is it has to be bringing alot of money into the area.. And if it goes back to the way is was then that is less money for the area b/c people wouldnt want to spend that money to fish just an average lake... right now i would say the lake is above average for this part of the country....just my opinion

Just a few years ago up here in the river, if you came in with a limit of keepers with a kicker, you won money. After they drew down a couple of the pools and let the vegetation grow, if you do not have a 3 1/2 lb average, stay home. They amount of vegetation has increased the amount and size of the fish. You can go out at any given time and catch multiple 3-4lber's. The 2lber's seem to be everywhere.

During the BASS weigh-in at KY Dam Marina this year, I couldn't count how many pros said this is one of the best lakes in the country and it's all because the grass has come back. Many of them (Tim Horton comes to mind) said "You guys need to take care of this lake. Don't let anything happen to the grass". That pretty much says it all for me.

Hey Barnboy and GM482V , Pull your head out of your a$$ and think about the long term effects of chemicals being dumped into a lake!!!! But wait.........your just conserned with the here and now, Right??? You still believe the DNR when they say the chemicals wont effect the fish ?? Wake up...
