Sorry to hear :crying:
All they told me they did was clean out the air injector lines. Still looking for places to.take it to get it rebuilt. A new 4 stroke is not happening yet.
I understand but if the rebuild is coming out of your pocket I'd seriously have a real long think on it. For that cost for a rebuild you could put a good deposit on a new 4 stroke something. I'd lean toward a Suz or SHO put thats me.
Good luck sorry about all the hassle you've been through.
Might check with C&O in White Bluff and see what they can do.
I should have took it to C&O in the first place but the other shop was a lot closer and had been treating me fairly. Live and learn. I found a guy in New Tazewell, TN that has everything in his shop to rebuild it. Got a couple of people to talk to and heard nothing but good things. I appreciate all the help, running it over there next week and we'll see how it goes
Good luck!!
Cool that it has a 200. I'm jelly. :bows::beers: Oops didn't read the whole thread about your motor.
Took a month but finally got it back. He ended up replacing 2 sleeves and 2 air injectors. All new on the inside. Waiting on a Vessel view mobile to deliver tomorrow before taking it out to start breaking it in. Hope the ordeal is finally over.
