86'd comes from an old saying "8 feet long, 6 feet down." It obviously refers to burying some one or some thing. It is also linked to the old F -86 fighter planes. When one shot down an enemy the enemy was "86'd" Now days it relates more to eliminating someone or something completely.
I know the no info rule is broken. And I know some make sure to not break the no info rule.
Your're correct on both. For me, the guys that break any rules or who encroach or fish other competitors spots are both cheaters. Nothing honorable about either.Quote:

because wheeler is known for (and has admitted to) purposely combing over the rules to find a loophole, or expose a loose definition to gain an advantage. idk about you, but I have a feider mindset when it comes to rules. They are black and white and anyone who purposely looks for loopholes to gain an advantage against friends arent the type id want to fish against or be friends with.
he has been fined several times for getting info after cut off date
If your statement is true the one knowing there is cheating is just as guilty as the cheater. They are supposed to report any infraction to the director or they could get a penalty.Quote:

If so many BBC’ers know that the no info rule is broken, why doesn’t B.A.S.S. also know it? If they know, why haven’t they DQ’ed the violators? I have no doubt that a few competitors might violate the no info rule. If B.A.S.S. suspects someone it would be pretty easy to lay a trap for them. Heck, if anyone knows that a particular pro violates the no info rule, it would be pretty easy to record them and turn them in.
Violating the no info rule is a black and white issue. Allowing some competitors to violate this rule, while DQ’ing others who are in the gray area seems like misplaced effort to me.
