What Jason said sounds good. I will let you know how it goes tonight. JD I know where Red Bank Ms is. Theres one in Tn too?
Honestly I did it so many times I don't remember.
Go go into your control panel where you can delete programs. Delete all your java software and go to java and download the latest version fresh to your pc
after doing that try opening Navservice and and it should show in the bottom right side of the toolbar. If so install card and all should start to read. That fixed my initial problem. After that is was a navionics issue and they fixed that.
Mine did not work. Changed it a little but the card still says full. Sent them emails back. Maybe hear from them tomorrow.
Card full was something they had to do on their end. They used a program to access my pc they sent in a link.
I was thinking that. We have a steel program at work and they do that with us to fix and to train.
Did a update this morning of my Nav+ and everything went very good. There is also a new interface thst is very nice and it seems that the download was faster.
I thought the new navionics + card where you can download the lakes you want was only 99.00 but I am now seeing it for 170. At retailers ?
what if you own a Nav card & have paid the $74 for an update to it? BTW be sure software on FF is up to date otherwise it won't read the updated card!
A Nav. lady from Italy called me this morning and we got on my PC(on line) together. She made a few changes to my PC( I had it blocked in settings that would not allow it to work) and we downloaded my first area. Tried it in my T12 and everything looks great.
Question: If i had my existing Hot Map premium map( one i used to set up nav. +) in my unit and the nav + disc in my unit and both have the same lake on them which will it read. I also have chart share with two other units.
Therre is no benefits on running 2 Navionics. You should use the Nav+ the best of the 2. The only way you can find out about witch one is in use: just take one out and the map will disapear
ARK - that question comes up often enough and I'm really not sure? I'd just take Wally's advice and rock the +
I have an Old Navionics card.. can i get the + for $99
I noticed something neat on my Nav+ and fishnchip. I have a T12 and an HDS10 on my console. When you bring up a chart on each and turn off the fishnchip on one of them you can see and compare the changes. About like you can do on line in the Webbapp with the little blue spot in the lower left corner. I can put my old South card in my unit and it will read what is on that map that is not on my NAV+. Card. If I set it on FishN chip I know it reads the Nav. + infor.
Simon - you can get the + for $99 but it's a separate card called the Navionics Updates card. You'll need your old Navionics card to unlock the new Updates card. Once this is done, your old card will still work in your CHARTPLOTTER however it'll be done from any further updates and will not unlock anymore + cards. Your Updates card will then have full Navionics + abilities, SonarCharts and region-less downloads. Basically a trade-in program where you don't have to physically turn in your card.
Got my nav+ card and downloaded all I need on it plus anything within reason to drive with ample room to spare last night. Didn't have the slightest hiccup. After updating unit, I'll try the card and check back in if I have issues. Seemed very user friendly. I did seem to notice after doing a few areas, it downloads in blocks, so if you have a block 64mb to download and adjust slightly to cover what you want, it may jump to 110 or 120 or similar. BUt if you must have that extra bit, you might as well increase the box to just before the jump to 170-180mb size. Is this correct thinking? I'm going only on what I saw in the download area of website. Basically just make the blocks big enough that any bigger and the data size jumps each time you pick an area to get more map for your money?
