2010 2500HD Duramax. Truck has built trans, twin turbos, and a lot of bolt ons, went low 11's at 120+mph in the quarter. Tows my Skeeter great!

I found this 2003 Ford F150 Heavy Duty Series 7700 with 27,600 miles. Long bed, Reg Cab, wind up windows and vinyl seats. It's easy to clean, inside and out. LoL! She's "Plain Jane" but notice two fueling door covers on the side and the blue diamond tag on the tailgate? One is for gas and the other is for CNG. Right now stations around here are selling CNG for less than $2.00 per GGE (Gas Gallon Equivalent) but I pump it at home for around $.90 cents a GGE. With gas at $4.XX+ a gallon I now drive cheaper, cleaner than my Prius and the money stays here in America. F150 w/<28k miles, $9,600, pump was recondition and sold for $2,800, total $12,400. I know there are similar deals out there, Utah is a great state to find this stuff. I save enough on towing gas to pay for boating gas and then some. :nanner:

I tow my 2003 Ranger 521VX with a 2011 Crew Cab 1500 Silverado Z-71... with a 6.2L. :cool: I barely know it is back there, even when stopping, until I get to a fuel pump. But then again, I didn't buy a 410hp (EFI Tuned) truck for fuel economy.

I previously had a Silverado 2500HD Duramax that I towed with. It was awesome, and got relatively the same fuel economy towing as it did not towing, but with diesel fuel prices... I'll take the 10-11 mpg's while towing. Other than fuel economy and down-shifting while towing, there isn't much difference to me between the 1/2 & 3/4 ton (EFI Live, built tranny) that I can feel, having driven and towed with both, but I didn't get the smaller V8 either. I imagine with the 5.3L I'd notice a little more difference. I will say though, that while driving to Kerr Lake, NC this weekend (600 miles), I was missing the Duramax a little.

I don't tow very far, or very fast, but the little Taco gets the job done.

Flip your ball. Its dangerous towing an unlevel rig.

Best tow pig I've ever had. I've owned diesel and gas prior to this truck but between fuel mileage, power, and maintenance the ram with a hemi takes the cake for me.

I only driver her when I need to lol, the gas mileage isn't great with the 5.9L. I get about 10-12 towing, and about the same around town with no highway driving. On the highway I can get about 13 out of it.

no need for a monster truck for my 19' tin. 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee does just fine.

Deleted the other post. Love the 2000 dodge I have and way to much money in extra's to have to start buying for a new truck again, so decided to do a complete custom build on her and dress her up like I wanted to. Fresh paint, roof visor, new led cab lights, and lots of chrome.
2000 dodge 3500. 45+hp injectors. Edge juice with attitude, AB air box and 4 inch turbo back exhaust with a muffler thrown in just to be legal.
She pulls everything I want to hook behind her.
