No way I could narrow it down to one...but the best movie I've seen in a while is "The Help".
Hopefully I don't lose my man card for that, but it really is an excellent movie.

Immediately revoked!
Grand Torino
The Kingdom
Outlaw Josey Wales
The Terminator (First one)
Aliens
I love "Help" (the Beatles). The music is kewl, the plot is silly. "Shawshank Redemption" is very good, as is "Paint Your Wagon". "Das Boot" (aka "The Boat") is a very good submarine/war movie. "The Heroes" and "Devil's Brigade" are both good war movies.
DVD's I own: "Stardust"....hillarious. "Cat Ballou"....hillarious. "A Funny thing happened on the way to the forum"...hillarious. "Avatar"...not hillarious, kinda stupid in some ways, but interesting. "No Country for Old Men"...cold blooded. "Grand Torino"...Clint's best movie since "Paint Your Wagon". http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/popcorn.gif

Training Day The Big Lebowski
BEST movie I've seen? Well, it would have something to do with my screen name.
Two previous mentions (Paint Your Wagon and Jacob's Ladder) are also favorites of mine and I'll add one that hasn't yet been mentioned... American History X. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
I only own 2 movies....
Apocalypse Now
Scarface
If I see a gangster, war or Clint Eastwood movie when flicking through the channel guide, I'll probably watch it.
[quote=Roddy]Tombstone, Outlaw Jossey Wales, Jeramiha Johnson, Forest Gump, Man on fire, Unforgiven, Saving Private Ryan, Shawshank and No Country for Old Men
this about sums it up, maybe tora-tora-tora
I wonder if the guys in this thread that can't just list one movie but have to list multiple movies have more lures than guys that are good with just listing a single movie. Would be a funny correlation.
There really should be time periods for determining a favorite... http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/ohwell.gif
I just thought about 1,000,000 Years BC! If you're 50 and older, you didn't watch that movie for the dinosaurs http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eek.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/bows.gif to Raquel Welch!
The Ten Commandments is still fun to watch too...along with the original Clash of the Titans and Jason and the Argonauts... http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
...and yes, my garage is FULL of soft plastics and hard baits... http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
