Anyone need a partner for Onondaga...
I fished with the team from RIT. We took 3rd place with 15.76.
2nd place was 15.83
1st place was 17.83
Mostly largemouth, there was one bag of smallmouth that went for 14 ish.
We also took lunker with a 4.70 LM
Passing this along, for some to make other arrangements if necessary.

This is copy and pasted from NYBass nation post.
For everyone wondering about the smb and Oneida and what is going on -
DEC and Cornell have been getting samples/and sampled fish themselves.
So far, the two fish we gave them were VERY heavily parasitized by helminths (different species of small worms) - causing heavy damage to a lot of internal organs.
They also have those ugly, stinky, lesions everyone has been seeing, from which they have cultured out an Edwardsiella species of bacteria - not unheard of either.
This seems very similar to the SMB outbreak a few years bavk on the Susquehanna River - time and sampling will tell........
There is testing being done for LMBV - but this virus is endemic across the eastern waters of this country - and has been for decades now, working its way north from southern waters over time.
So far, everyone has been left scratching their heads as to whats coming first - what is the initial precipitating insult? What is weakening them and allowing them to become so heavily compromised - is it the warm summer temps? I dont think that's it, as these fish have been showing up since spring...
As soon as i hear anything concrete, i will let everyone know.
In the mean time CLEAN/DRAIN/DRY/DISINFECT has never been more important!!!!!! We sure do NOT want to see anything like what is happening on Oneida to occur anywhere else!
Great info. I recently caught a smallie on Oneida where this bacterial lesion ate a quarter size hole in the tail. It was a nice 3 lb class fish. Let’s hope recovery happens soon and these fish can fight this bacteria off. Maybe the colder water temps will suppress this bacteria outbreak.
Salt city canceled. Flx says they need 10 boats. Anybody know how many mohawk valley gets usually
Here ya go! See you there!
