OK,
Since this is about the four stroke and the first one I have seen on a ZX225, how about posting some more pics showing the MOTOR and the transom area??
It's a sweet ride, but a ZX225 needs the 2 stroke on it...4 strokes are for Walleye boats... http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/stirthepot.gif
j/k
I'm interested in the final numbers...

Does this mean the bass will avoid this ZX225? http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
They did yesterday!! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif I didn't catch any. Did open it up for a minute and hit 69.8 @ 6100 on GPS. Still needs a little more set up, but I am only at 6 hours.
BTW the F225 is for bass boats. I still haven't put anymore gas in the boat and have 2 half tanks left. Can't do that with the 2 stroke. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif
Also haven't had to put any oil in either. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif
I think I'm sold on them as soon as my 2 stroke pops.
Yeah
The outboard industry has been behind the times when it comes to 4-strokes. The motorcycle industry made the switch to 4's in the mid 70's and never looked back. Heck - You can't even go into Home Depot and find any 2-stroke lawn care equipment anymore.
I think it's funny how some 2-stroke ad's proudly claim that you never need to change the oil on their products. Yeah - The 2-stroke design is more simple when compared to a 4 but that design also makes them WAY more unreliable. Case-in-point - When was the last time you heard of someone's car motor eating a piston?!
Man that boat looks Good , I also would like to see some more pics with the motor and azz end and etc. Here in Cal you cann't get the HPDI as of this year unless its allready here in the state and I was worry about what a skeeter would look like with a 4 on the back. But that boat really does not look to bad form the pic, look like the #'s are not going to be to bad either
All they need to do is create a bad azz cowling for the 4 strokes and it will be goodbye 2 strokes before long.....I'm sure they should be working on it or better get to it. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
All I'm gonna say is .................................................. .................. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/stirthepot.gif
Oh yea, forgot, I can't say anything. I will say that ______________________________, but again, I can't say anything. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
I do get a lot of questions when at the gas station (even though I don't have to go as often) and on the lake about the engine and all I can say is it is AWESOME!!! I had a guy at the last tournament asking me about it while we were waiting to put them on the trailer and he asked if it was quite, then I had to tell him it was running.
We are working on props and set up to get max performance. I now have 13 hours and it is time to play. The boat is getting wrapped this week, so I will be playing as soon as I get it back.
great lookin boat !! http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif what colors are they?

Thanks for the comments.
