I talked directly with Marshall at Skeeter Boats regarding my installation. He was very helpful and supportive of my project. What I was told was that it would only void the warranty in the immediate area of the modification. In other words if you really mess up the installation they won't cover it - but then I certainly would not expect them to cover my mistakes!
Re: TZX 190 Recessed Pedal Tray Install (CA Ken)
Now I can understand the front deck area where you installed it, but I though your were saying the entire hull. Good to hear.

I'm kinda curious "Eugene" as to why your friend would want the "most popular" tray and not just one of the good ones.
Also kinda curious as to why almost all of your current 15 posts has been about the Flat Foot.......seems that maybe you've had a username change since you used to post on here a while back? http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eyes.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/glasses.gif

Correct, I called and asked Skeeter that exact question a while back and that is how they explained it to me. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif

Well it depends on how much you pay for it, we had a customer a few years back who came in and bought a new winch strap for $26,000 and we threw in the Triton Fish-n-Ski.

You have an uncanny ability to flush out a rat. I noticed the name change also but kept it to myself. The last time I cornered one of those salesmen it turned into a weeklong tirade of ranting and crying. It is blatantly obvious because their unyielding loyalty to an average product gives away the fact that they are being paid. Sad but true.
Re: TZX 190 Recessed Pedal Tray Install (kicker-fish)
Maybe I missed it but where did you get the tray to put your foot control in?
Re: TZX 190 Recessed Pedal Tray Install (soonerskeeter)
I bought mine at a local tackle shop. There are 3 'front-runners' on the market. FlatFoot, Comfortroll and Pro Tray. All three are good products I'm sure. You can order direct from any of the manufacturers, or you can check their websites for local dealers, or you can order from Cabelas and probably Bass Pro Shops. If you need help locating one, let me know!
