Yeah, I'm suppose to have one for some of the tournaments I fish, but never been checked. The miss sound easy and cheap enough, how's the reliability of them though?

no difference in reliability. Actually, the TDR composite reeds are better for the engine than steel reeds. Steel reeds can damage internal engine if one breaks off, a composite reed will just get spit out. You just have to always use hi-octane fuel and premium plus oil. As for the plate, maybe a quality picture of one laminated to the plate? i dunno maybe they'd accept that if in question as long as it's specific to the boat!?
