Actually yes it was......aand the worthless wannabe a boat shop at the lake didnt have any plugs that fit.But I still wonder if the boat is going to come out of the hole with that prop.
Any Merc dealer should be able to send you a set of the plugs. A set contains all sizes. Try experimenting. Also, you may need to try another 23p prop. They are not always perfect out of the box...
You'll have to plug the holes. Or plug the holes and get a prop ring. That's what I have to do on my 225. I still haven't found the right prop for 7,500 feet, but I'm still looking.
I was surpised what a difference merely changing one plug made in my holeshot. The really tune in your holeshot but your elavation may play some tricks on that.
I would start out with the biggest plugs and work your way down a size one by one until you get it were it needs to be? Just an idea
