Got to disagree with you on this one. It's not childish at all. It shows me that he is a real man who put everything he had into winning bass fishing's greatest prize and came up short. If someone wins it and crys, is that childish too?

+1, would it have been better if he kicked his Humminbird graph and cussed a lot?! I liked seeing that, he poured his heart and body into that week and that is what is called the agony of defeat. I thought it was a little classless for it to be shown on tv...others have done it I guarantee you.
BTW, anyone else get the idea Edwin Evers is gettin cocky?!

I http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/USA1.gif Greg Vinson. Anyone has a problem with someone showing emotion over something so important...needs to go lay on some overpaid PhD's couch. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif

I agree with that. There is nothing wrong with showing emotion. Why would anyone feel the need to be critical of someone who does? http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthdown.gif

+1. I'll be happy to admit that there are times where emotions get the best of me and I drop some tears. Being a man doesn't mean you cant cry dude.
Re: Greg vinson (skeeterz25)
Tell ya what. Give up your job to give pro fishing one last shot...claw and climb your way up the ranks and make it the Classic (something I bet most all of us have dreamed about at one point or another in our life). Put your whole heart and soul into making your childhood dream come true only to fall short by a couple pounds. Im sure GV feels like that be his only shot.....and he just missed it. Walk a mile in his shoes before you judge him. Oh yeah and the way I was raised....REAL men arent afraid to cry!!!
Re: Greg vinson (skeeterz25)
He was having a Arron Martens moment, probably worse, I mean hell Chris lane had just beaten him 2 Sundays in a row on the same water under the same conditions http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/devil.gif Thats got to be tough to swallow.
