Glad you guys are talking about my fish, here is a photo of the tongue patch for you to debate over.
I've caught a lot of wiper hybrids and never seen anything like this. i know it doesn't sound realistic but i had good reason to call parks and wildlife to look as this fish. still no word on the testing...

So I talked to the biologist this morning, and we should have the word soon, he did mention that the lab said they have had two other fish like this from oklahoma recently come in with one tooth patch, that turned out to be wipers. he also said this genetic testing wasn't available in previous years and that he questions the current record holders. Wish there was a way to bring them back to trial!
The news came back, its a type 1 hybrid. how these fish have one tooth patch they're not sure of, so if any are caught you better get them checked out! Better luck next time I guess!
