I fished Rocky Point lastThursday - Sunday and they are in every creek and the main river from oil creek to the Cannelton dam... We saw everything from 2-3 lb'ers to 35-40 lb'ers...Had a 30+ jump onto the side on the boat and had to shove it off the gunnel with my forearm...There were so many jumping around the boat and doing belly flops that both decks and Dad and I were soaked from them...Have not hit one when running a creek yet, but that now seems very likely...
Haven't seen any up our way... yet....
They were on the Ky Afield show last weekend. Tim farmer was below the dam on Barkley bow fishing for gar and got into them. Wierd fish, jumping like that. I'd like to try bow fishing them.
