Mike,
You guys could use space in our boat show booth at the Louisville and Lexington Boat show to promote or do a raffle for Trooper Island. let me know what you think, the crank bait raffle could work there.

Thanks for your support Matt. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif I hope you got to read the post in the lounge and check out the pics. I mentioned your generosity and also posted a link to some additional pictures where you can check out what the Gift Certs look like. Again, thanks for what you do for us! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/bows.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/bows.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/bows.gif

That would be awesome!!! Let me think on this one. Buck, what can we do to make this work?
I will go to the booth and do whatever you boys think will work....I know zilch about this kind of stuff but I can do the work. Might be a good chance to promote whatever winter tourney we plan on doing next year too. Since I wont be in the market yet for a boat it would do me good to not walk around and look at stuff I can't buy. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/ohwell.gif
Buck
I could help out wherever needed. I think we could come up with a lot more money if we carried it out that far. But the boat shows not until the end of Jan.. Would we need to vote on wether to do this one now or do a second later? Buck someone would have to man the table were we set up and take in the cash, that should be about it.
Not that you guys aren't capable, but don't you think a couple of hooters girls would do better collecting for a crankbait raffle? No offense, but you look like every other bass guy in there.
I vote for the Hooters girls! Of course, I could help them out if needed...
I'm sure I could get a tackle company like Daiwa, Lucky Craft, etc behind in and do something really big with this. We have our tackle trailer at the Louisville show and do really well, but Lexington is new for us and we won't have any tackle there, I also think the Lexington show overlaps 1 weekend with UL. The UL show would be the best bet.
Matt
I will go to whatever show you all think is best and do whatever. If you guys are willing to put this much into it then somebody tell me what to do.
FYI....I can wear some daisy dukes, braid my chest hair and wear a low cut T shirt.....leave them Hooters girls at the house. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif

HOOTERS GALS http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eek.gif boy count me in, even if I have to drive 4 hrs http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
Mike
Got to thinking about this raffle of all the crankbaits and especially the Hooter's girls....lol. No use winning a bunch of crankbaits and not knowing how to use them so I will be sending you a certificate for a free full day's guide trip here on Ky/Barkley with me to put in the box along with all those crankbaits.
PLEASE LET ONE OF THE HOOTER'S GIRLS WIN IT.... http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
WOW!!!! Thanks Dave!!! Very Generous http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/bows.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/bows.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/bows.gif
I continue to be truly amazed at the generosity of this group. I just wanted to thank everyone who puts in the time to make this a fantastic place to hang out and meet some great folks.
You all do a fantastic job at any task that is at hand. I especially want to thank Mike D. for keeping this group reaching further into promoting a wonderful sport that we love.
I think the Trooper Island should be our sponsored charity from now on. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif Helping kids be kids is a wonderful program. If you all know of anything I can do from this part of KY just let me know. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
You started it Bob http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/bows.gif You were here first. I agree, we have some incredible folks on this board http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
Its a real same we could not figure out a way to take a kid fishing for a day.... meaning the ones on the island. Come to think of it does not have to be the island kids but any group of kids. But then again I realize the liability insurance is a real big issue.
Oh Mike; Sue caught me with the Luck Craft baits http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eek.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/doh.gif , guess that is out now...BUT will see what I can come up with later....esspecially after Xmas and things go on sale http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
Ed, if you are serious about donating a trolling motor for the boat project, I would say you have gone above and beyond on that one. We should let Sue keep her cranks http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/bows.gif
Well Mike that trolling motor is taking up room and no one wants it for 250 bucks so if it is still around when you get the boat to recondition its yours http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/smile.gif
