Some I can fit it in, others I cant. I can put a trailer in some pretty sketchy places and get it out unharmed. But I also have zero shame in parking at the back and walking in.
I have if there's room but usually just breakfast because the drive thru will be open early but the dining room doesn't open early.
Pretty simple to park the boat and walk in. NO way im pulling my boat through a drive through.

The girls at the Exxon in Ashdown make the best damn egg, cheese, and bacon biscuit sandwiches in Sevier County. Easier than the drive thru at McDs. Although their drive thru is fine in a pinch.
Ditto for me, I do it all the time but you have to know which ones are too tight for the boat to turn. I have a McD's I pull through all the time and the only problem is a couple of times I have made the left turn too tight and got some trailer rim rash.Quote:

I've done it many times, not just the boat but my 16ft trailer as well. All local though, so I know what I'm getting into. If I was in an unfamiliar area, I'd be hesitant unless I could clearly see the orientation of the drive through. Some places are like our local DQ, you can't make the turn in a 4 door full size truck alone without pulling up, back up, pull up.

I never leave my boat unattended in public. I once saw some kids in a parking lot at a buffet style restaurant that jump up in a boat and start playing. At first I thought it was the boat owner kids until after they started the engine and some adult came over and shut it off and got the hell out of there with the kids. The boat owner was crazy for leaving the key in the ignition and the kill switch lanyard attached. I know one thing for sure them Mercury 250s sound bad ass on dry land. Anyways what’s to stop a thief, vandalism or stupid kids from crawling around on your boat while you inside the restaurant. The ONLY way I would leave my boat to go inside is if there’s 2 people and 1 of us has eye contact on the boat the entire time. Even with a boat cover I would still want to keep it in sight.Quote:
