Last year in June I took my 11yr old to a local highly pressured lake with not a lot of hope to be honest. We went to one spot I usually fish and we ended up smashing them. Our biggest 5 went 33.15 and his personal best at 7.2oz. That's a day I'll never forget and I doubt he will either.
Down here in the marsh I have around 8 spots that I’ve caught 20-40 bass in 1 spot some more than once over a couple years time frame….. when conditions and tide line up just right, it’s lights out in some spots where a shallow pond/flat is draining through a ditch to a main bayou….. the bass and redfish come out in waves and you can literally catch every single cast for an hour or so…
