Bass Fishing HOF Auction. Man cave items galore

Milliken Trip is nuts... Kind of eye opening when you think about it. Saw him on BTL last night and the bids were coming on that trip faster than they could keep up with. Milliken is fishing the opens.. but clearly that's not where this is coming from. The dude has the angling social media content game on point.

Pangrac had the best idea. Someone should wear a go pro and just complain about how they'd be catching way more with livescope during the trip :laugh:

For all the guys talking about doom and gloom with livescope and how nobody likes it, they should check out the price difference between the Milliken trip and the Blauket trip. One is over 10K, the other is slightly cheaper than your average guide trip. Which audience actually puts their money where their mouth is? :laugh:

I didn’t see anything I would bid on.

I won a trip through the HOF couple years ago and got to fish with JVD in Traverse City, ended up fishing a couple of days with him.

In defense. It is a great learning trip. He taught me some things I never thought about. Caught a lot of keepers in January on a cold cloudy day.

A Youtuber will bid on the Milliken trip. It could make sense financially. It won’t just be some random person. It will be someone else wanting the exposure themselves.

Over 1/2 Million Youtube subscribers it will go a lot higher. 2K to be on BTL for the day and go fishing with Matt. Glad to see a lot of money being raised for a good cause.

Some of the trips are pretty cool, but honestly the fishing gear was a little underwhelming this year. Usually they have a few high end rods or something like that.

A few of the jerseys would be cool, but I don’t have the money or place to display them. Kinda telling who’s not popular in fishing when a few guys don’t even have over a $100 bid for their Jersey.

I know very few people who would even display a well known pro athletes jersey in their home, let alone a commercial filled tacky looking bass jersey. Very limited market

Those Rapala Mavrik jerkbaits are going for well under 1/2 of retail.
