Usually don't have docks where I launch so I back in with bow eye still attached, walk back, step on the tongue, undo the eye/winch, climb in, back off, beach the boat, and come get the truck and pull it out and park.

Update:
I installed a set of Trick Steps on my Lund. Using them for the first time today, I was able to back in farther, float the boat, jump in at the bow and motor over to the dock. No ropes needed. Just the same type of launching as all of the bass boats I’ve had.
I had a lot of trouble launching my Tracker when I got it. Stumbled across the Dakota Boat Retriever while looking for solutions. Got one and it is a life changer. Have thought about posting a video, but they have videos out. Works just like the videos
