Hey Girls!!! Things are looking good!! We have over 15 boaters signed up already!! Keep getting the word out! There was a typo in the registration that said the registration is on the 22nd. We all know it isn't and that the real date is on the 29th. Great work guys and looking forward to the tournament!!

I plan on being there with my boat. I live on the lake and was told to just show up on the 29th and register. Looking forward to it
good deal, if you get online and register it just helps them know how many extra wounded warriors they can bring in to fish http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif

It's a Great Event with alot of Great People
This sounds like a very worthy cause.
Please forgive my ignorance, but I was wondering how it works when the angler is in a wheel chair in the bass boats. Again I apologize for my ignorance on such matters.

Guys, this is not going to be a problem. This is the best tournament you can be involved in, hands down. I have been involved here on the Potomac the last 2 years. You do not have to worry about getting the person on or off the boat. Here we have plenty of Marines and firefighters that volunteer and assist the angler onto your boat. Here is the other fun factoid, if like here, you don't even launch your boat! You get your boat prepped for launch, the volunteers hand you some lunch, ice and waters, they load your angler and you get in the boat. Then they launch you! And get your rig when you come in and you put er on the trailer. Then they get your angler off at the weigh in location. After that you get your rig back. That is the best experience that you can have for a TX. The cost of the TX is nothing, compared to any I know of, and you get a whole lot out of it. The people at PVA are a great group of people and they work hard at this and have had plenty of experience and know how to treat the boaters. Except for the usual ribbing. Ask Alan about Stinky. And for full disclosure, I do not work for PVA.

Works the same here too.

Right now they are in need of 15 boaters and 7 non-boaters. These numbers will grow as more disabled anglers sign up. Please sign up as soon as you can so this year will be a little less stressful, scrambling for volunteers and boat captains. Click on the Mid-America Bass Tournament link and it will guide you through the sign up process. Cost is only $50.00 Thanks guys
