The slider does not work as it should. If you sit on a spot all day and run pumps you will have to kick of emergency start. You should be able to choose to direct power to starting battery first, AC or DC charging. Simple software fix should correct.
Update, sending charge unit to Power Pole for evaluation. I’ll give another update once I hear what the problem was. I can say that they have great customer service.

They may have the best cust svc I've seen in any industry. Why my new boat has poles and not raptors. And a charge. Whatever the issue, they'll fix it.
I’m running a power x2 cranking batt and 3 100ah impulse lithium’s with the charge. Have had this combination out a few times this yr and zero issues. Come back home , check the status and I’m 95% on trolling batts and 85% on cranking. This is a full day in high winds with my ghost on anchor and hi speed. . You my want to re think that interstate batt. I never had luck with. Them .
I run an x2 cranking and 3 everstarts with my charge. Fish thick grass in florida and strong current on the st lawrence zero problems.
Has anyone else noticed increased sonar interference since adding their charge? I've noticed input voltage to the trolling motor is very high also 43-45v. Not sure how well/long the TM is going to like that.
For sonar interference, Unhook the PP Charge and interference is gone..... Trolling Motor Voltage goes back down to the 38.8-39v Range.
Update-charge system had an internal issue. They are sending me a replacement unit. A little disappointed as I am at Dale Hollow Lake and wanted to see how the unit performed. JL Marine is top notch in customer service. Fishing update-half day on the water today, had to do a little work in the morning, biggest five smallmouth, 19.24 pounds. Culled many 3 pounders. Life is good.
Features are great but kinks exist and until resolved, I added an in-line Battery on/off switch on positive lead (+) to avoid the power drain on cranking battery and the potential sonar interference ... I interrupt / shut off the Charge while fishing and turn On when I need to charge, jump start... i am confident PP will have firmware update to resolve issues. Shout out to The Lithium Battery Company on their 36v 50ah lithium trolling battery... strong for days of Florida grass fishing and offshore spot locking in wind.

Charge Update - Got the replacement unit. installed and appears to be working normal now. I will post when i get it out on the water. JL Marine service is awesome.
Had charge on the water yesterday. Winds 15-20 MPH. Fished 7 hrs. When I got home the cranking battery was at 80% and trolling motor battery was at 95%. A true Lt amazing power management system. I would recommend it to all. Power Pole’s service is top notch.
Need some help!! Will not pair to Bluetooth on iPhone 11. Says Pairing Unsuccessful “PP Charge BA73 unsupported” what’s the fix? I already tried the reset procedure on the charge, made sure my phone had the newest update.
So, is he just making it up then?
There is so much detail missing I don't believe the report could just be causally dismissed. I just got my new PP Charge from PP (initial one did not work properly, did crazy things). We will see how the new one works. I have very good detail on how much power I use for an average day and what I come back to the dock at.
Right now, without the PP Charge, I end up back on the trailer after a normal 6 hour fishing day at 95% on the staring battery, 70% on the trolling batteries.
Starting battery is a 125ah Ionic lithium, trolling batteries at 3 x 100ah Ionic lithiums. With the app, I know exactly what they % charge on them is and what the amp draw and amp charging rate is on them.
We run about 45 minutes during a normal Saturday morning outing, NOT including the initial run from the dock. Mercury 150 FS puts on 45 amps to the staring battery at mid to high RPM consistently at 14.6 volts. Been measured many times.
Total amp draw of all my electronics is 7 amps. I do not have a ton. 2 x 10in Solix, NMEA network, Humminbird Ethernet switch and heading sensor, 1 live well. When it is all running and live well pump is on its about right at 6.5, but lets call it 7 amps. Thats 42 amps total usage for the 6 hour day (less, honestly, live well is not always used (depends on how the walleye are biting) and even if it is the pump only runs maybe 20% of the time, but I will use the 7amp total draw anyway). Again, 6 hours (really 5.5 or so, if you take out the unloading and initial run from the dock), 7 amps per hour. 42ah used.
Engine will generate roughly 33 ah of power (45 mins at 45 amps per hour output that is going to the battery, as measured by the Ionic app), just assuming it is always mid to high RPM. Probably another 15+ mins additional at idle or slow speed maybe adds another 10 amps per hour, 15 mins of that would be call it 3 amps total. 35 ah total from the main engine.
42 ah used, 35 ah generated, 7 ah not account for. Batteries should be at 115ah left, which would be 94% charge when back on the boat. Usually end up around 95% charge. My numbers are rounded up some, and live well really does not run much at all. So, close enough for government work.
After all of that, if my replacement PP Charge works well, I will report back on how it performs. I expect on a normal day like I just went through, starting battery will be around 80%, trolling motor batteries will be 85%. That would give me 5 days of fishing up without charging batteries, vs. 3 days and change as it is now.
Which when you go up to Northern MN for 3-5 days with no dock power that means a lot. Hence the reason I got the PP Charge.
Open the CMonster app and get hooked up to the PPCharge before plugging it in. You will find out there is less power in the Lithium TM Batteries than what the charge is telling you. When I first plugged mine in last week the app was showing 40% after being on a TM only lake fishing for 10 hrs. Within 5 minutes the app was showing my Lithium TM batteries at 95% which was definitely a lie.
