I tow my 1992 Ranger Comanche 482V with a 2008 140 HP Evinrude Motor with a 2003 BMW X5 4.4i. Boat and trailer weigh in around 2,500-3000 lbs. Loads of HP and get up and go when needed.
Of course it was mere coincidence that when I boughtmy retirement home in Irmo, it was 5 miles away from Lake Murray, SC. Mygirlfriend has a house in Chapin, with lake access about 20 minutes away. :smile:
I just bought a 2500 Chevy HD with 4WD. I have been considering the Duramax engine soon however as towing long distances with gas will drain your wallet. Good thread.

Tow with a Range Rover HSE Supercharged, as well as a Land Rover LR3. Doesn't get much more comfy that this set up!!! LOVE both of them.
